The _s_m_t_i_n_f_o command displays the contents of configuration or operation
Station Information Frames (SIFs) for a specified FDDI station.
The options have the following meaning:
----cccc Show station configuration information for the specified host.
----oooo Show station operation information for the specified host.
----vvvv Show the SMT versions supported by the SMT on the specified host.
This option is the default.
----dddd Show some debugging information of no interest to anyone except the
maintainers of the smtinfo command and smtd daemon.
----IIII _i_n_t_e_r_f_a_c_e
Use _i_n_t_e_r_f_a_c_e to get and display FDDI SMT station information. The
_i_n_t_e_r_f_a_c_e is a string of the form ``name unit'', for example,
``ipg0''. The default is set to the station's primary interface
_a_d_d_r_e_s_s
is the MAC address or host name of a remote FDDI station. The MAC
address format is 6 hexadecimal numbers separated by colons (e.g.,
8:0:69:1f:a:6d). If a host name is specified, its MAC address is
obtained from /_e_t_c/_e_t_h_e_r_s or the NIS _e_t_h_e_r_s._b_y_n_a_m_e map.
